Who I Am
I am a finance and accounting professional originally from Nepal, currently based in Sydney, Australia. With a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Tribhuvan University and over five years of progressive experience at Ankur Infotech Pvt. Ltd. — a fintech and banking software company — I bring a strong foundation in financial operations, core banking systems, and team leadership.
In my most recent role as Customer Support Supervisor at Ankur Infotech, I managed the day-to-day operations of a 12-member support team, ensuring high service quality across banking software implementations for over 100 clients. Prior to that, as Senior Customer Support Representative, I provided front-line support for financial transactions and core banking solutions, developing deep expertise in payment gateways and accounting workflows.
I am currently pursuing a Master of Professional Accounting at King's Own Institute (KOI), Sydney — deepening my expertise in accounting information systems, corporate accounting and reporting, business law, career ownership, statistics and data analysis, communication in business, and financial accounting, with a goal of building a career in accounting, audit, or banking in Australia.
Working inside banking software support, I was solving the symptoms of financial problems — a failed reconciliation, a misrouted payment, a client's year-end query — without ever owning the cause. That gap is what pulled me toward accounting: I wanted to work on the numbers directly, not just the systems around them. My accounting foundation from Tribhuvan University, combined with five years watching how banks actually operate, gives me a practical starting point most graduates don't have — and I'm building on it now through the MPA at KOI, eager to bring that perspective to a graduate role in Australia's financial sector.
